As a group, we will be doing a project on Graciousness.
Our mission statement is
"We plan to change the mindsets of typical Singaporeans and to teach them the importance of being gracious. We want to make Singapore a better place for people to live in whereby most of the population will learn how to be gracious so that they can teach their future genrations how to be gracious and also to attract more foreigners into Singapore to help boost it's economy."

For the past few english lessons, we have dicussed about the topic "There is a need to teach Singaporeans to be gracious." In my view, i think there is a need to teach Singaporeans to be gracious. Since Singapore is now recognised as a world first country, i believe that Singaporeans has to be more gracious as there is the increase of foreigners and tourists in Singapore. Also, Singapore is now constantly developing, so i think that Singapore should not waste this great opportunity to boost its economy.
With the improvement in economy in Singapore, i am sure that there will be more advantages and opportunities to develop Singapore by increasing the awareness of graciousness in Singaporeans. However, after much discussions during English lessons, i was also able to see that there is not a need to teach Singaporeans to be gracious,too. Since Singapore is working very hard to instill the graciousness to youths as giving the awards to students who are being gracious, i believe that the future of Singapore is very positive. Hence, even though, it will take a lot of time, if Singapore keeps it up, i take it that Singapore will be able to develop even grater than now.

For the progress, so far our group has finished writing our argumentative essay with the help of Ms.Raine's powerpoints and points. We are completing what we are supposed to do and we will try our best to work on it in a better way.
